Meeting Minutes of January 12, 2005
The Idaho Board Of Social Work Examiners meeting was called to order at 8:06 a.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, Owyhee Plaza, 1109 Main Street, Suite 220, Boise, Idaho.

Formal Disciplinary Action
Ms. Guyon, Deputy Attorney General submitted a Memorandum to the Board for their discussion and recommendations in Case No. SWO-2005-4.
SWO-2005-2: Moved by Vicki Powers, seconded by Carolyn Burt-Patterson and carried that the Board accept the Stipulation And Consent Order in the matter of Lisa Marie Manery, aka Lisa Marie Bowen, License No. LCSW-1195. Rhonda Murray recused herself from discussion and voting regarding this case.
Moved by Rhonda Murray, seconded by Vicki Powers and carried to allow Carolyn Burt-Patterson to sign the Stipulation And Consent Order on behalf of Board Chairman, Robert Payne who was not available in the Bureau office for signature.
SWO-2004-6: Moved by Vicki Powers, seconded by Carolyn Burt-Patterson and carried that License No. LCSW-1058 issued to Respondent, Cathy J. Anderson be suspended for a period of five (5) years. Respondent must also comply with the terms of her criminal probation in Idaho Case No. CR-03-179. Prior to reinstatement of licensure Respondent must obtain an evaluation by a licensed psychologist prior to the conclusion of the five year suspension, Respondent shall complete twenty (20) hours of continuing education in ethics and pay the costs and attorney fees incurred in the investigation. Respondent must appear before the Board for reinstatement of licensure.
PROPOSED RULES
Joe Brunson, from the Department of Heath and Welfare joined the Board to discuss the proposed rules. Discussion was held and the Board reached a consensus that additional rule making will be initiated after this Legislative Session. The Board pledged to work cooperatively with the Department of Health and Welfare and independent entities to draft rule changes that address the concerns presented. The proposed changes will be available to the public for review and comment prior to submission to the legislature for the 2006 session.
Joe Brunson indicated he appreciated the cooperative spirit of the Board.
Moved by Carolyn Burt-Patterson to adjourn the conference call meeting at 9:15 a.m. Seconded by Dorothy Ring, motion carried.
