CONFERENCE CALL

Roll Call established attendance at 1:00 p.m. MST

LETTER TO LICENSEES

A motion was made by Dr. Flandro to approve the amended Optometric CPT Code letter to be sent to all licensees. Seconded by Dr. Zarybnisky, motion carried.

Dr. Tiller stated he received a letter regarding the reimbursement of scanning lasers. He also added that the Board should draft a letter in response that will be discussed during the next scheduled meeting.

The Board also requested an agenda item be added to the next meeting to discuss the addition of other CPT codes.

Dr. Tiller then asked that each Board member bring their code books with them to this meeting.

Dr. Tiller asked if e-mail addresses were available for licensed Optometrists to send correspondence to. The secretary stated no. However, a license search can be done from the website which will include the address of public record. Dr. Tiller asked if the secretary would contact Larry Benton with this information.

The meeting scheduled for February 22, 2008 will begin at 8:45 a.m. MST.

A motion was made by Dr. Barnhart to adjourn the meeting at 1:11p.m. Seconded by Dr. Flandro, motion carried.
