ROLL CALL: Richard Craig, Ed.D., Chairman; Enid Davis, Ed.D.; Dawna Jackson, M.Coun.; Jun Shiosaki
ALSO PRESENT: Thomas E. Limbaugh, Bureau Chief; Roger Hales, Administrative Attorney; Janice Wiedrick, Secretary
Dr. Craig called the meeting to order at 10:02a.m.
Dawna Jackson moved to go into executive session for discussion of the licensure application of COU 061099 DJW and potential litigation. Jun Shiosaki seconded the motion, motion carried.
Dr. Davis moved to come out of executive session. Jun Shiosaki seconded the motion, motion carried.
Dawna Jackson moved that the Board grant 1,000 hours of supervised experience from Colorado toward the 2,000-hour requirement for Idaho LPCP licensure, and that the applicant be required to show evidence of 1,000 hours of supervised experience gained since becoming licensed in Colorado on March 8, 1999. A Licensed Professional Counselor-Private Practice must provide said supervision. Jun Shiosaki seconded the motion, motion carried.
Dr. Craig is to draft a letter to the applicant, for Roger Hales review prior to being sent.
Tom Limbaugh reported on the Marriage Family Therapist bill.
Dawna Jackson and Dr. Craig will be attending the NBCC conference. Dr. Craig encouraged all Board members to consider attending. The registration deadline is May 1, 2000.
Having no further business before them, Dawna Jackson moved to adjourn the meeting at 10:25a.m. Jun Shiosaki seconded the motion, motion carried.
