Conference Call Minutes of August 27^th, 2007

Chairman Roberta Crockett called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m.

Mr. Hales presented the draft of the proposed law change.

The Board discussed the Associate Marriage & Family license and made some changes.

Dr. Jones moved to adopt the proposed law change as amended.  Seconded by Ms. Woods, motion carried.

Ms. Cory presented the financial report which is available to the public on the Bureau’s website at www.ibol.idaho.gov.

Ms. Cory presented the contract for services between the State of Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses and the Idaho Licensing Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists, and discussed the renewal agreement.

Dr. Freeman moved to approve the contract and authorize the Board Chair to sign on behalf of the board. Seconded by Dr. Birdsall, motion carried.

Dr. Jones moved to enter into executive session under Idaho Code 67-2345 (1) (d), to consider records that are exempt from disclosure.  Seconded by Ms. Hill, motion carried.

Dr. Freeman moved to enter into regular session.  Seconded by Dr. Birdsall, motion carried. 

Dr. Birdsall moved to grant Rebecca Jensen licensure.  Seconded by Dr. Jones. Dr. Freeman and Ms. Woods opposed, motion carried.
